Ehlers is signed through his 35 season.
Huberdeau would signed through his 38 season if you suggest a 6 year deal, but you are paying for 6 seasons at an age where historically players decline.
Huberdeau's age and decline is what makes the 6 year deal at $8.5M unlikely.
