That's not to say they won't trade him to improve their roster, but there is absolutely a path for him to be top-4 in Dallas or even higher. With his size, I am sure they are hesitant to give him up.

Zero right shot D in your top 4 would be an interesting move. Especially after last season they identified RD as a point of weakness and a reason they did not make it to the finals.
