I don't really know how anyone can be against extending Huska at this point. He's getting a ton out of the group and doesn't seem to be wearing on guys with an abrasive or annoying schtick.
He's ensuring the team plays the right way and creates an environment that players enjoy. Until this group increases its talent level further by graduating more prospects, it's going to be a sum of its part type of thing. Overpaying some big name to come in that has a short shelf life right now would be pointless.
I also have a hard time believing that Huska isn't improving with NHL experience and is unwilling to adapt as the team improves....
