Game 1 - Gausman
Game 2 - Bassit then Yesavage (You need 4 starters anyways, and Bassit's road splits are TERRIBLE). Have Bassitt pitch at Skydome until trouble comes along, then bring in Trey. Much harder to gameplan for the Yankees by the Jays not announcing Yesavage ahead of time.
(Off Day)
Game 3 - Bieber
Game 4 - Varland/Lauer (followed by Scherzer/bullpen as required). This combo worked beautifully for the Jays last week, and the day off after allows for a full bullpen arsenal if required.
(Off Day)
Game 5 - Gausman/Yesavage. Start Gausman until trouble then bring in Trey.
This strategy keeps Bassitt and Yesavage away from Yankee stadium, and allows you to use Yesavage twice as a secret weapon without announcing it either time.
Its not how I would do it. But I think there's some merit to this.

I want no part of Scherzer pitching to a lineup full of power bats at Yankee stadium and its little league right field fence. That's a recipe for disaster, imo.
