To counter this point.
Parekh - 6'0 @ 185lbs listed
But he came in bigger at camp this year (12lbs of muscle)
He's bigger than the following "elite" offensive defenseman today (2025 point totals)
Hughes - 5'10 - 181
Hutson - 5'10 - 165
Makar - 5'11 - 187
Fox - 5'11 - 181
The ones that are bigger - some not by much at all
Morrissey - 6'0 - 194
Sanderson - 6'2 - 185
Werenski - 6'2 - 214
Dahlin - 6'3 - 203
Bouchard - 6'3 - 192
Hedman - 6'6 - 245
Essentially I don't think he's undersized, I think he's underexperienced for sure but that doesn't mean he's not a fit or out of his league. He needs to play, he needs protected minutes and he needs to be put in situations that are advantageous to his skill set (Powerplay)
Quinn Hughes had Tanev to shelter him his rookie season.
Makar had Ryan Graves
Fox had Ryan Lindgren
Essentially we need Parekh to have a better partner than Jake Bean or Brayden Pachal. Bahl would be the perfect fit in my opinion.
He's played 1 meaningless NHL game last year where he looked good.
He's played 2 pre-season games this year.
I think he's ready for the NHL.
