I cant believe we're trying to hang a handful of guys by name out to dry when the entire team including the coaches didn't show up last night.
That's one of those games where you press the reset button and forget about it.
Not a single person looked good, it took the entire team to play that bad.
It's crazy to me that 1 bad pre-season game results in people turning on Parekh, on a night where our youngest guy with the least experience was hung out to dry like the rest of the team.
"too slow"
"games too fast for him"
"he's not Quinn Hughes, never will be"
"has no idea what to do out there"
Jesus christ what am I reading...
The same could be said for every guy on that ice last night, it was garbage through and through.
Let's take a step back, allow some of these young guys specifically time to play more than 2-3 pre-season games and evaluate when the season is over?
It's like some were expecting him to carry this team back to victory last night.
Did he make some mistakes? Sure
Did he look in over his head at times? Sure
But everyone did, even the 10+ year veterans looked like pylons last night.
How many PP's did Rasmus pinch leading to a 2 or 3 on 1? I think I counted 3 or 4
Let's take a step back, relax and learn from this abysmal showing.
