Open AI has just released Sora 2 today, which is...absolutely insane...to put it mildly.

I've been a huge fan of Veo 3 and it was a huge step up in terms of video adherence with added music and sounds (it generated a whole new types of videos), and for a while OpenAI was very silent on Sora which slowly became very dated and back at the pack. This suddenly came out of nowhere. It has the same jaw dropping effect as the original Sora preview did when it was revealed, but the difference is, the model we have right now is the same as the previews (Sora that was released was a completely neutered version).
The biggest difference is that it has the comedic / cinematic timing that exists in ads, movies, videos that are smooth and frankly indistinguishable to what you would find on social media, and very human. Some videos I created I literally laughed out loud at just how amazing it was.
Pro tip, until it's released publicly, you can go on OpenAI's discord channel in their Sora 2 room and ask for an invite code. I got one within 5 minutes. As far as I can tell there is no video limit and as long as you have an invite, you can generate to your heart's content. This is not going to last so give it a try while you can. You can also download the iOS Sora app which has some added features.
And yes, it's completely uncensored in terms of copyright material. Have fun.
