Yeah, that was quite fun, I even saw a wall of death down on the floor during Gojira. I've always liked them, but damn they sure deliver live.
The new Fieldy actually has a better bass tone, less clack and you could actually hear his bottom end, no complaints there. I was actually amazed at how animated both Munky and Head were on stage, they've played so many shows and a lot of those songs countless times but they didn't shortchange anyone. Ray Luzier is a pro, was perfect for the gig when they hired him. Jonathan sounded good, he has a limited vocal range and isn't even really a traditional singer but you have to respect what he's done.
I can't belive these guys have 14 albums, a few of those completely ignored in the setlist but they included more than a few from 1994 so that was fine with me.
