That's the other point, ducks had plenty of room so the offer sheet would just be accepted. Offer sheets are not this powerful tool, they only work In select situations. Edmonton having two players that were good but not high cap hits while having no cap room was a Hailey's comet. Everybody says GMs should just offer sheet don't really think through all the stars that have to align
