Absolutely unbelievable, gemological DNA testing strikes again! I've read a couple books, and watched multiple documentaries on the case. There's also a Netflix documentary series in the works.
What makes the case worse is the police bungled the case initially and wrongfully put four men on trial back in 1999. Two of them were convicted One of the convicted actually ended up on death row, and another was killed in an altercation with police years later. Many thought they were guilty of the murders all these years later. Pretty sad stuff, as the police basically forced them into false confessions. |
