Sounds like he is trusting the same numbers that told him to replace Berrios with Kikuchi 2 years ago.
If you could guarantee you win the 2 wild card games 8-0 and keep everyone active, and they don’t celebrate too hard after, then maybe they’ll be better set up for R2.
But Schneider can’t have that much of a selective memory and the disaster of Seattle, and laying down for the Twins, should have him steer as far away from a 3 game series as possible.
