I doubt your figures. Crude oil is about $80/b in Cdn$, which works out to about $0.50/L for the raw input, ignoring the fact that gasoline is probably relatively high in the crude oil value chain. Refining oil is not free, and neither is distributing it to gas stations across the country, so these should be added as direct costs.
