They scapegoated Slowik for Stroud's sophomore slump and now the offense is even worse. Maybe Stroud's rookie season was his peak as once NFL defensive coordinators accumulate enough film, things become more difficult for young QB's. It wasn't long ago Ryans and Caserio were the talk of the league but things can change fast in the NFL.
