Some things matter more than sport. Including the life and liberty of 36 million Ukranians, all of whom are in danger every day because the Russian strategy in the war is primarily to target civilians and civilian infrastructure. I mean, they were bombing theatres where civilians were sheltering. Tens of thousands of Ukranian children have been abducted to be educated as Russian citizens. Russian troops have been documented shooting unarmed civilians at point blank range without provocation. Russia needs to be isolated internationally until its government recognizes that it will lose its international status if it continues its unprovoked aggression, imperialism, and war crimes.
