You'd want to be pretty sure I think of adding him - not sure if you could do it for the type of injury guys normally play through.

I was thinking about this some more, and I wonder if he can have say Yimi Garcia's spot on the roster for the postseason. Garcia has been out for more than 60 days and he's on the 60 day IL. It isn't a problem (or at least not a new problem...) if he can't come back for the next round because he's having surgery anyway. If that's the case it's basically a non-issue - they have multiple guys in that situation already.
