The Long Walk was gripping from start to finish.
It was a good movie experience that hit its emotional notes.
While it's an adaptation, the premise was pretty original and that provided a lot more intrigue than you get from your typical recycled movie plots nowadays.
Mark Hamill's performance was a bit cartoonish (not sure if intentional) but the film was strong enough to make it irrelevant.
it did great job of illustrating how people will shed their differences when they're put through an increasingly desperate situation.
