This is why I am looking less and less at "left" and "right" and more and more at "up" and "down". Everyone knows the Left and the Right.

Up = Corporatism
Down = Populism

American is 99.9% Corporatism. The Republicans and the Democrats are both full on Corporatists and will basically say whatever their corporate overlords tell them to.

Bernie is the 0.1% populist who is fighting for the people and against the corporations that are trying to buy / enslave all of the people.

Trying to look at the spectrums from a "progressive populist" position really just starts to show how the Libs and the Cons are really just doing the same thing but maybe for different Corporate overlords. They want you to pick between Coke vs. Pepsi and they do not want you to know that there is another choice.
