I’m sure there could be other top players that are in trade rumours right now but that list is stacked. Unfortunately, Andersson is probably the least valuable player on that list so it could mean teams hold off on spending assets to get Andersson until they know they can’t get one of the superstars on that list. A team would probably really regret spending picks and prospects to get Andersson only to find out they could have used those assets in a Crosby or McDavid trade.
Not saying it will hurt Andersson’s return. I just wonder if teams will avoid making any early season trades until they know if guys like McDavid, Crosby or Kaprizov are going to be available.

Not sure there are many dmen better than Andersson that are “available”. I think he will be a hot commodity if he turns things around early.
