Okay. But to be clear, the term "innocent" implies that he never did any wrong. I don't think that's true here. I gave my reasons previously.
And again, in case my subtext wasn't clear, political violence does not align with my ethics or worldview...like, at all. I'm taking exception to your eulogizing him simply because he has children. I'm taking exception because that doesn't make him exceptional. It's not a reason to mourn him because it has no bearing on his soul or humanity.
And...if I'm being honest (gulp), but I think it's important to be honest and say what is likely true... it might be a small mercy that these young children were spared being raised by someone so cruel and inhumane. They're probably going to be better off not knowing him as their father. Hate is taught. It is not a biologically inherited trait.
