That is unfortunate, the lives of those forced to witness it will be irrevocable changed and not for the better. I do truly feel awful for those people.

Sounds like the old man they thought was the shooter wasn't and there's no suspect in custody. While information after these events cannot be trusted as it goes too fast and furious it is an interesting (?) side note is that apparently Utah State allows open carry on campus and has previously been an issue when some liberal speakers decided not to come there and were told too bad that's how freedom works round here.
