If Anderssons heard he sucks from social media. Then he may have been looking at his stat line or follows Mike Commrie who does his wonderful Masters green jacket spoof about the player with the worst +/- .
Truth be told and I'm sure many teams will agree, he doesn't suck, he had a rough season in which it was a pretty significant transition for the organization on the ice.
He also knows full well there's a player coming to take his job and if things go the way everyone (or almost everyone) thinks it's going, Anderssons the odd man out regardless.
No, Anderssons a good player who will get a good return, he's just been using fan opinion to motivate himself. It's fine really.
I like his candid nature. And his honesty.
