I don't think the offers get better, I don't think he will do a sign and trade deal and this could be a distraction. I still think trading him now is better, just not sure how that means he is terrible, he has never contributed to this franchise and how that means I think he is a whiner and is going to screw this franchise. I think he will do what is best for him and what's best for him is not going to help the Flames get value. This is why I would have traded him last summer as I said last summer his value would go down after this season. It did and the offers IMO are probably worse than what they would have been summer 2024.

Well if he has 50 points in 63 games at the deadline I think it is self-evident how doing what is best for him (having a good season to up his trade value) helps the Flames get value. So he can do things that are mutually beneficial.
I don’t recall anyone saying last summer that the Flames should trade Rasmus but I might have missed it. If I had been that clairvoyant I would probably be quoting myself to show off my precognition.
