I pointed to his +/- and I also said I think he should be dealt before the season. I also called that I doubt he signs with anyone right now as he is coming off 2 bad years and teams probably will low ball him with contract offers and the offers would not meet his expectation. Sounds like Ras is saying the same thing I said 2 months ago.
I don't think the offers get better, I don't think he will do a sign and trade deal and this could be a distraction. I still think trading him now is better, just not sure how that means he is terrible, he has never contributed to this franchise and how that means I think he is a whiner and is going to screw this franchise. I think he will do what is best for him and what's best for him is not going to help the Flames get value. This is why I would have traded him last summer as I said last summer his value would go down after this season. It did and the offers IMO are probably worse than what they would have been summer 2024.
