It was alright, it was a combination of Enemy mine, and the BattleStar Galactica episode where Starbuck went missing and Adama risked everything to save her.


By the was Pike's decision making here in real world instances makes him a bad Captain if he can't let go of individual crew members.


The ending wasn't needed and the episode would have been more poignant without it. If they wanted a big ending or proper ending, Orgega attacks Singh out of grief for her friend. Or when they get back to the ship confronts her physically and they can keep playing the Ortega PTSD and confusion over the Gorn.


I don't know why I found the agree disagreement dialogue as so good, but I did.


This season hasn't been near the quality of the previous two, and they're not being super creative in terms of writing.


Oh and they punished Ortega for risking the crew, yet Uhura gets away with it and Pike says he knows she fudged the numbers, seems like a weird double standard here.
