My brother used to room with like three other guys on his football team in Kelowna and complained to no end about how messy they were. His last year he found a female room mate thinking that it would be much easier to keep the place clean. Not only was it just as bad.....he had the extra drama to deal with all the time!!!
In my experiences women can be just as messy or worse than men. Plus any time you have a situation where there are three room mates you will always get a two against one scenario or get caught in the middle of your two room mates having a spat and asking you to pick sides. I've been involved in many an scenario and let me tell you it ain't pretty nor is it fun.
My advice is dont' be scared to cut bait and haul out, and always be as lazy as possible forcing your room mates to clean up after you, and try to stick them with as many bills as possible...don't be afraid to miss rent for two months and than just ditch them without a contact number. Room mate is a cut throat game and he who gives in first loses. I speak from experience....I lost a lot of these battles and spent a lot of time cleaning houses and paying for other peoples messes. You do not want to follow my path.
