It's OK. I kept thinking it was reminding me of Kungfu Panda and Turning Red for some odd reason. Maybe it was the frequent use of random goofiness between sections that were supposed to be somewhat serious?
I like Sakamoto days, but I get why some people think it's weird. It took quite a few eps for me to get into it. I also find I'm not certain of what the full premise is. Like if the way of the house husband ran into Spy Family or something... It seems to have a loose plot, but the activities that move towards unraveling it are so random.
Tougen Anki seemed interesting at first, but I agree I feel like it's got high schooler chosen one + Naruto blueprints all over it. Demon Slayer fell apart for me as well as it got longer.
I really wish that there are more adult and dark action anime coming down the pipelines. Stuff like Gantz, Ajin, GITS, Evangelion etc. Even Blue Eye Samurai was pretty decent.
Edit: loved stuff like cyberpunk and pantheon.
