Well no one said he's going to get no PP time. Maybe Rasmus is on the 2nd PP unit, splitting time with Weegar. The reality is that Andersson, Zayne, and Weegar will all likely see some PP time. But neither Weegar or Andersson are so good at QB'ing a PP that we should be worried at them blocking Zayne. If Zayne is better at it than them, he will get more time.
As for the last comments, I don't understand them. What do you think the historic approach has been. The Flames are no different than other teams. They grant their younger player chances, and when they do well, they get more chances. And that happens organically and over time.
Maybe not at the pace fans want. But that's a different thing.
