I lived with a girl as a room mate a few years ago, and it was ok, but not great.
Every argument became a massive drama in the relationship. It was like being married without the side benefit. The toilet seat is a huge thing, and making sure that the bathroom is spotless was another one.
We only had one T.V., and she wasn't a hockey fan, and I certainly wasn't a fan of melrose place.
She'd bring her boyfriends over constantly and he'd eat the food, and drink my beer, and when I got pissed about him never offering to replace it I got crapped on about being a lousy host.
I ended up putting a lock on my bed room door, because she'd borrow stuff all the time, and then it would vanish.
When I lived in Regina I shared a place with two girls, and I could never get thier share of the rent on time.
Oh and the hole relationship thing did happen, and it created a three way vortex of doom that destroyed all friendships in the place.
Plus its never a good idea to get into a fist fight with one of thier boyfriends in the living room, because according to them, its always you that starts it.
