One of the best North American production vehicles to ever cover off all those requirements is... I kid you not... the Chrysler PT Cruiser. People with mobility challenges and especially seniors f-cking LOVED those pieces of crap, but it was the ergonomics of the things. You didn't step down into it like a Dodge Neon / SX 2.0, and you didn't step up into it like a Dodge Caravan (which seniors also loved). You stepped sideways into it, and onto the seat with ease.

Maybe that's what could save Chrysler; an affordable EV version of the PT Cruiser, but also designed to support autonomous tech. It could be the North American 'London cab'.
