Andersson has a typical high water contract season, before being traded at the deadline for a 1st and a young centre playing down the lineup of a Stanley Cup contender. Zary has his best season yet. Parekh improves the PP% to 25% and gets 40 points. The extra goals from Zary, Andersson, and Parekh, alongside the ongoing excellence of Wolf in net, propel the Flames to 97 points, enough for the final wild card spot in the West.
