The problem is that a lot of times it's guys like Zaun, McDonald, Clayton or Reed Johnson hitting in those situations. You can't keep having Gregg Zaun ground into DP's in this situation. None of those guys is there to hit the ball out of the park, those guys need to execute situational hitting or you replace them. I also think the likes of Thomas and Wells had been guilty lately of trying to hit everything out of the park and hitting too many routine pop ups. These guys need to get into a groove of hitting the ball and than looking to drive it out of the park.

But they've hit the ball out of the park the last couple games. Maybe they'll get on that roll that they've been waiting for all year.
