I don't agree with this. McDavid is a very special player and what he brings is irreplaceable. He drags a sub-par team through the playoffs every year. Whatever the Oilers get for McDavid will make the team worse. In the playoffs containing a bunch of lesser parts is much easier than containing McDavid himself. McDavid's combination of speed and skill means that no matter what is thrown at him, he'll find a way to score....well maybe with exception of what the Panthers threw at him.
