I didn't say it in the other thread, but I don't mind if Andersson stays. It ultimately depends on the cap hit he is willing to take. Anything over 8m and I am not a happy camper. But, if we can lock him in an 8-year deal on a cap hit a little under 8 (I am thinking 7.5-7.9), I think that's a great deal for us. The cap will be going up, and Andersson gets himself a nice pay-day. He's not going to be able to get an 8-year deal elsewhere unless he inks it this season.
I am still in the trade-Andersson boat, however, I won't be mad if we can lock him in. He is still a valuable player and would be a perfect middle pairing player *if* Parekh becomes the top pairing potential D that we see him as.
