I follow this stuff pretty closely, and I can’t think of a single hedge fund, investment bank, or any other source I would consider reputable that has called for an imminent catastrophic implosion. In fact, virtually every investment firm/bank has recently raised their end of year targets for the market.
The question remains, though, if we’re on the verge of collapse, what does that mean? Two weeks, two months, two years? Although I wouldn’t call two years ‘on the verge’. And what is catastrophic implosion? 40%? 50%?
On the verge of catastrophic implosion is something I’d expect to see in the YouTube comment section.
