This could partially go in the WRGMG thread, but alas… yesterday coming back from Kelowna I thought since it’s about 6pm, maybe we’ll check if it’s possible to check out Lake Louise. After I get off the highway, I immediately see the “Parking Lot Full” sign and think “damn, well it’ll be a pain to turn around and there’s lots of cars going the other direction so we’ll just risk it or hoof it if there’s no nearby lake shore parking. We finally get down and there’s some Parks staff directing traffic and I then think they’ll probably think I am dumbass for ignoring the parking full sign, but there was actually a crapload of parking spots despite it all. Though the parking area seems a lot smaller than I remember it years ago when I last went. They could also totally add a second level without it being obnoxious.
So, I am just happy we got to enjoy LL after capping off a week of showing our exchange student around Alberta and BC.
