I'd say in the 12-6 month out window, you want to start pushing as hard as you can, create pressure, see if you can find any cracks on both wings of the party for decent to form, 26 months out isn't doing anything either the cracks will heal or the party has time to hit a reset button.
And I honestly don't think a great meme clip of Nenshi owning smith on the floor with create enough shame in her to do something good or responsible.

Has Nenshi been silent? Or has there been no opportunity for him to do his job?
Smith kept him out of government for nearly the maximum amount of time that she was permitted to and when he finally was sworn in, they were on summer break.
If you look at the calendar that has been put out, the UCP are trying to be in session as little as possible and are taking June, July, August, September, and the first 3 weeks of October off. Then they will work for 4 whole weeks before taking all of December off for Xmas....
Considering how much they get paid and the fact that the UCP decided to give themselves raises, they are doing sweet f-all work for the people of Alberta.
So, hopefully in October and November, Nenshi is blasting the UCP constantly before the UCP go into hiding for another 3 month break.
