I recently spent 3 weeks on Vancouver Island with access to only terrestrial FM radio in the car. For some reason all five stations that I could access were stuck in a time trap of BC based artists. It seemed every single song was by Loverboy or Chilliwack or Bryan Adams or Nellie Furtado or 54-40 or Prism or Odds or Matt Good or Payolas or Barney Bentall or Tom Cochrane. They sure like to play their homegrown stuff.
