Unless you're signing Zary for 7 or 8 years that AAV is way above his value IMO. Yes, it's a good short term value deal for the Wild, but Rossi is a back to back 20g center and just put up 60 points on a good, deep team.
I like the player's potential, but Zary has a career high of what 34points on a rebuilding club and he hasn't even found a home at C or W yet. For me ~3M AAV for Zary on a 2-3 year deal would be generous.
