I read an article last week in the Wall Street Journal about alcohol in particular, and it's been punishing for many of the smaller distillers and brewers. In that scenario, it's not only the individual boycotts that are involved, but also the provinces not buying US alcohol through their liquor control boards and such. Some of the smaller distillers were getting hit hard by this, and of course, Alberta caved.
I still think that grocery store shoppers must have some impact, though. There is a lot of labelling to convince us that products are Canadian in some capacity.
