Pens have had insane luck in the draft (or maybe even some shenanigans) and have 5 Cups to show for it, all post 1990. Hard not to be envious, if not outright hate them for it. Yet Sid, Geno, Fleury, etc all likeable guys and I really don't know of anyone who hates them (except for Flyers or Caps fans).
Habs have more Cups than God, yet they are kinda just there. Multiple dynasties, and the last Canadian team to win one. Do people around here really hate them, or is it just Eastern Canadians? They do hockey right in that town and the tradition and culture associated with that team is unmatched in hockey.
Multiple reasons to hate them, but I can't bring myself to hate them.

I have been voting Montreal since round 2. For me, it is more historical than anything (not from Eastern Canada). If you had any memories of the 70s, you either hated or loved Montreal. There was no meh, back then.

O.K. there has been a lot of talk on whether or not MacTavish has actually done a good job for us, most fans on this board are very basic in their analysis and I feel would change their opinion entirely if the team was successful.
