My 3 year old son is starting to obsess with doing things with me.
The first couple years it was all about mom, now he's wanting to do simple things with me every day.

Each morning I pick him up to make my morning Nespresso; he has to put the pod in and push the button, then we watch it in a snuggle until the last little "drib drab" drop comes out.
Yesterday I was thinking there will one day be a last time I can lift him to do things like this; these moments are everything.

Next we make my morning oatmeal with protein. He scoops the protein in, picks out the perfect amount of blueberries for me and mixes it all up.
Now he has started wanting to eat the same breakfast, so we make 2 (just a little chocolate whey for him).
This little morning routine is the best part of my day. I wish I could bottle it up, so he never outgrows it.

It just changes.

My son has been out at UVic since Sunday for camp. He needs to cook for himself. We have been cooking together this week by text.
