Best series I have read in ages. The final book slated to come out early next year. The first is pitched as something like Hunger Games but DONT FALL INTO THIS TRAP. Book 2 opens up to essentially more violent game of thrones in space.

I came into this thread to see if anyone had recommended this series. I'm about a quarter way into Red Rising and I'm kicking myself for not starting it sooner.
