I have to disagree.
Release clauses are commonly used throughout professional football. it would have been reasonable to ask for one on a 6-year deal when Isak signed that contract.
For whatever reason Isak didn't do that.
So if he wants to leave after 3 years (really two years due to his injuries) then it has to work for Newcastle as well.
They spent 65million pounds and it is their duty to get a fair return.
In addition, the money has to be enough to find and sign a comparable replacement .
