So my question was, who were these hires for, and after you angrily tapped your keyboard about how awful I am and how terrible my questions was, you answer is: its for the team and the people who are doing the hiring? So cheerleaders exist for the pleasure and entertainment of HR for these teams?

Ya they're very talented. Most male cheerleaders, who are often referred to as yell leaders like in Edmonton, really enhance the entertainment by bring their size and strength to the group, tossing the ladies up in the air and catching them. It's incredibly athletic on both their parts and is very impressive. In answer to your question, and without being a petty dick, I'll say, they are for anyone who wanted to be entertained at the game.
