Agree with the bolded, but here's my personal ask regarding expectations:
I think we should have high expectations for him given he clearly has them for himself. But having high expectations does not preclude being patient or kind.
Should he struggle a bit (or a lot) and need some time adapting to the NHL - defensively, offensively, or both - my ask to the fanbase would be to be patient and
maybe just don't be a prick about it.
