Agree with you on reality is not bias and that the CBC needs to report as such. There’s many examples of the CBC being biased. No I’m not going to go research specific examples and bring them to you. It’s my opinion. I’d add that it’s not just my opinion. Have a gander at bias rating agencies and their perception of the CBC. This isn’t some conspiracy theorist arm wavey thing.

I'm not saying there isn't a bias in the stories they choose to report or how they report them. Biases are inherent to humans. I don't think the biases are anywhere near that of private news organizations, or that they come anywhere close to requiring the CBC to be defunded. Could the CBC benefit from more varied
perspectives? Sure. I don't disagree with that. But they do often have guests from the right to comment and discuss issues. They at least try. It's still by far the most fair and balanced reporting we have in Canada.
You never hear Conservatives arguing that in public, they just want to axe it. They don't care to fix what the deem is broken, which should tell you a lot about their ultimate intents.
