Same is true here. It's not, for example, impossible that some Canadian conservative politician would think it's a good idea to take executive action under the guise of an alleged emergency to exert control over the streets of Ottawa to address criminal behaviour, in theory, but the only one to actually do it was Trudeau.

Oh come on. The convoy was a bunch of ####ing hooligans that shut down our capital. A stop had to be put to it, and it was clear the only way they would leave would be the government and country capitulating to their insane demands.
It was an embarrassment it went on as long as it did, and that's only because Conservatives gave support to them to continue their illegal actions. The fact the organizers are going to jail is proof this went far beyond a legal protest.
But hey, the next time the "extreme left" takes over our capitol city and blocks boarder crossings while inciting EXTREMIST violence against the RCMP you can run a proper comparison of govenrment over reach.
