In the Alberta politics thread there was a comment that said anyone who votes CP is vile and scum. Do to the ucp covering up corruption. I'm not a fan of any of the corruption that had found its way into Canadian politics. Yet, the Liberal party of the past 8 years was not immune to it. I don't recall any right wing supporters calling the left side scum or calling for their passports.
There is an ever growing sense of moral superiority being displayed here every day and it rubs me the wrong way. In reality Canadians are almost split 50/50 in what they support. I'm not sure that it is at all helpful to be lobing such crude comments towards the other side. It definitely will not foster unity and progress us Canadians in a healing direction. It reaks of the crap show that the USA has become.

Division? Fascists are scum and can't be tolerated. People like PP and Smith are scum, we know they are due to their long public history of dysfunctional actions.
You come across as one of the easily or intentionally gullible voters who said that it's all fear mongering when it gets pointed out just who and what these people really are.
If my calling the supporters of fascist or fascist adjacent movements scum upets you, then maybe you need to learn your history.
And before you try and deflect that PP and Smith aren't members of a fascist movement, Iwillpoint out that glee fully ladhanding convoy creeps(repeatedly) or fawning over Trump makes it perfectly clear.
