The location to raise a family thing...I don't know if I really buy that Vegas be a better place than the L.A. area for what will be a very wealthy family. I mean for family activities...I think L.A. and area has a lot more to offer then what Vegas would. Even for private schools I would think the L.A. area would have a lot of options. Maybe the size of the city and how crowded it can be, and traffic works against L.A.

The competitiveness of the team I can get that. Even the taxes is something that I don't think bothers Swedish players like it does say the American ones who generally come from wealthy families. If he did turn down the Kings, I think these other factors are just secondary reasons that might have been given that didn't really matter against not being keen to join a Ken Holland run team that might be taking a step back 2 years from now.
