4 first round exits in a row, all of them losing to the Oilers, would be enough for me as a Flames fan to not want to jump on the Kings bandwagon.
Also, the idea that the Kings and their D group composition might not be an ideal landing place for Andersson as they have two young high profile RD in the system. At the same time, their LD depth is pretty bad... Mikey Anderson is their top LD? (IMO, LA should be trying for Byram instead of Andersson)
If Andersson wants to win a cup, I do not think LA is getting there in the next 8 years.

Good points. I'd suspect this is likely the case because we also know Andersson really likes it in Calgary, and if he were to waive he'd want to be going somewhere that's a sure bet for a shot at the cup - and LA probably doesn't fit those needs for the reasons you've mentioned... Especially the Oilers part!
